Search giant, Google, has just publically announced their new service, Google Public DNS. It’s a free service and it’s all part of Google’s large push to making browsing the internet a lot faster for us users.

Microsoft have confirmed a bug with Server Message Block in Windows 7 that could allow attackers to cripple the machine runing Windows 7 but also Windows Server 2008 R2 machines.

If you use your computer regularly then it’s likely you leave a clutter of files behind. These temporary or even unwanted files have the possibility of slowing down a computer or even cause serious conflicts with software programs that are installed.

Every computer that connects to the internet should be protected by a firewall, either a software firewall or a hardware firewall, although a hardware solution can provide better protection if it is configured right.
