They bug you for renewel, but in the mean time, this program really makes your computer slow from the very moment you install it.
I have this software installed in my machine and seems to work perfectly fine for what I bought that for. Here are my pros and cons of the product:
Pros
* Quick and easy to install
* Daily updates
* Very effective antivirus program
* Thorough customer support including free chat and email support.
* Supports up to 3 PC’s
Cons
* No additional features in CA Antivirus (look at CA Anti-Virus Plus or CA Internet Security Suite for more features)
* Runs slowly
I would recommend this antivirus software to my friends.
I recently acquired a license to CA-Antivirus 2010 3-user edition. I used to use CA Antivirus 2008, but canceled my subscription because it was a poor product that bogged down my computer, and couldn’t remove a particular virus.
But just recently I received several renewal notices in my inbox for a 1-year license to the 2010 edition. I already cancelled this product a long time ago, so I followed their instructions to cancel the renewal (which had to be filled out in triplicate because they also switched me from a 1-user license to a 3-user license) and thought the issue was taken care of, until my credit card bill came in, and I saw that I was charged fifty dollars for a renewal subscription.
I looked back over my bills from this time last year, and saw that I was also charged for a subscription for the 2009 edition that I never used!
I wouldn’t recommend dealing with this company, canceling my subscription with them has been the worst experience I’ve had with such a thing since I tried to cancel my AOL subscription over 10 years ago, and their product wasn’t very good to begin with.
