I like norton because whenever i google something it tells me right away what sites are safe to click on. I have a recent laptop with decent memory and hard drive space and it doesn’t slow it down at all. I never even know its running. Whenever my computer idles it runs a scan to check things out too. I just love it. I haven’t had a virus or anything on my computer since I got it and before I had problems pretty often. I just regret that I bought it directly from the norton website. I payed an arm and a leg for it there. Way cheaper on amazon..

Still the same crappy resource hog. Haven’t used Norton for several years, but some reviewers said it was improved. They must be using the fantasy version–mine still ties up 100% of the cpu periodically. Runs in background, but full scan literally takes days to complete. Bought this because it was cheap, but I’ll switch to Kaspersky or another of the superior products once this license expires. If you don’t care about your computer’s performance, I suppose this is fine, but otherwise, buy something else.
